They inhabit ruined arcologies and fight alongside the Yaksha species of Aragami, a type descended from God Eaters who were devoured by their own God Arcs. They will rarely join civilizations but remain a very mysterious race.įallen Humans are humans who have succumbed to Aragami infection and devolved into a mindlessly aggressive state, attacking everyone besides themselves. Human-Form Aragami are Aragami who have taken a humanoid appearance and intelligence. Blood-Types dwell in fortresses and Adaptive humans live in little villages. They are as tough as any God Eater but usually have better gear. Humans can be found in isolated settlements, massive arcology unions, and cavern-dwelling bandit hordes.īlood-Type humans and Adaptive humans are specialized groups of God Eaters that can survive in Blood Rain (in evil biomes) and Ash Storms (in good biomes) respectively, and will often make their homes in these areas. Beyond this, there are Attuned Humans, who can use God Arcs easily due to their high compatibility rate, and Managarm Humans, who are Aragami/Human hybrids created through mad science, and are super OP but very rare. They do, however, function fine against other humans. However, en masse they can be equipped with very simple, primitive oracle rifles which are like budget God Arcs, and maybe they will stand a chance. Most humans are mundane, weak, and will die if they fight an Aragami. Normal humans are the most numerous faction. You can also just use Anti-Aragami metal for it but that is boring. To make God Arcs you kill Aragami and make stuff out of their materials (bones). ![]() Other groups may have stronger or weaker armor grades. In fortress mode, you mine minerals and turn them into Military Supplies, which can be used to make Military Grade armor. Find a place you want to live in, and drop the terminal there. Also, the terminal is as heavy as you are, so you can't carry it around with you. You can't buy God Arcs though, you will need to craft those from Aragami parts. Cosmetic items found in the terminal will use the coins you gain by submitting Oracle Cells to your corporate overlords. This terminal will be the means by which you can craft new God Arcs and purchase various items, both cosmetic and useful. Then, use those coins to purchase a Fenrir computer terminal. Upon killing your first Aragami, you should butcher it, take its oracle cell part, and exchange that for coins in the crafting menu. If they make contact with a God Eater, they will absorb some of that God Eater's power and become stronger.Ĭrafting in adventure mode works a little differently here compared to most mods. Only other Aragami, or things close to Aragami, can eat it and not die instantly. Conventional weaponry is all but useless and only God Eaters, who control the Aragami weapons known as God Arcs, can stand a chance against them.Īragami flesh is highly toxic to normal humans and God Eaters. Only proceed if you either beat most of that studios games or don't intend to play them.Īragami are monsters composed of colonies of things called Oracle Cells which relentlessly consume anything they touch. Also, it is highly recommended that you use the pre-generated worlds in the Advanced Worldgen settings to play the game, so as to avoid DF's vanilla procgenned creatures from showing up. That said, there is some stuff you should know. Barring bugs or mistakes, you should be able to jump right in and start playing. This mod covers all 3 god eater games and then some. An exponentially more dangerous world compared to vanilla Dwarf Fortress entirely new environments, factions, and technologies over 100 creatures for you to hunt (and be hunted by) complete removal and replacement of most DF things On a whim, I decided overhaul Dwarf Fortress so it would take place in the God Eater universe. However, it has a place in my heart and I've kept up with the setting since my first exposure to it. I will admit, the series is cheesy, over the top, and often ridiculous. When I was younger, I found the God Eater series completely by accident. ![]()
